Leonard obtained his PPL at the Shearwater Flying Club in 1991. Learning his skills at a busy Military base prepared him for a future of flying in the busy airspace around the base and the International Airport to the north. Stanley airport is his base now, making the drive with wife Karen most weekends to the airport to fly, cut grass and enjoy the company of great friends. "I'm honored and excited to be leading the Executive and Directors into the future".
